Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan was the only Pakistani and the first non-Indian to receive the Bharat Ratna. He was also known as Frontier Gandhi and Badshah Khan. Years 1956, 1959, 1960, 1964, 1965, 1967, 1968-70, 1972-1974, 1977-1979, 1981, 1982, 1984-86, 1993-96, 2000, Bharat Ratna was not given in 2002-2008, 2010-2013, 2020-22.
